Chateau Mille Roses Haut-Médoc 2011 : 92 Points - Gold Medal

Exceptional

Dark dusty ruby color. Elegant aromas of fennel, dried cassis, coconut, and fine leather with a slightly chewy, crisp, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a smooth, complex, medium-long black cherry, honey-menthol, rose, and coriander seed finish with well-integrated, medium tannins and moderate oak flavor. A delicious Bordeaux with subtle hints of herbal freshness; lovely terroir, concentration and length.

Chateau Mille Roses Haut-Médoc 2012 : 90 Points - Gold Medal

Exceptional

Garnet black color. Savory aromas of gravel, musty black fruit, menthol, and thyme with a lightly tannic, vibrant, bone-dry medium body and a warming, amusing, medium-length wet stone, black currant, bell pepper, and brett finish with dusty tannins and moderate oak flavor. A rustic Bordeaux good for the serious inquirer of the region; drink or hold for the next three years.
